@CapitalistResistance, "why is it that a man who makes $20 million a year should pay a 1000 as much as a man who makes $20k". You're arguing against a flat tax rate and for the super wealthy.
Consider 100 people, with collectively $100, and the government needs $20. How do you tax the 100 people? A flat tax of 20% works, but you're against that. Your solution? You logic suggests 20¢/person, ie $1 for the top 5% who own $60, and $8 for the bottom 40% who own 20¢. See the problem?

Very intersting. In Regards is there any consideratation of how this all has happened?
Consider the UFO cover-up.

One point to add regarding oversight at the GSEs, before the Paulson take over, about half of the board of directors for these companies had been appointment by the U.S. President and confirmed by the Senate.
These were political enterprises under political direction but using the private money of shareholders and those that bought the securitized debt.

Atlas Shrugged's "Directive 10-289" comes to mind suddenly...maybe its just my paranoia.

I wonder what Obama thinks he's going to pay for universal healthcare with? The US is already bankrupt.

Objectivists are radicals for capitalism. What is capitalism? It is a social system that bans the use of force. Thus the rights of individuals are protected by the threat of retaliation. If you really want change then you want capitalism, NOW!

"It matters a lot actually, there's all the difference in the world between government thieves and working businessmen."
Just go to Columbia. Government decides nothing in Columbia, everything is in hands of narcobusiness. Or better go to Africa. Have fun.

"you wanna bring them down"
I don't want to bring them down. I want to limit their power below that of a government. Because the government is at least supposed to represent interests of the country, while "businessmen" play only for their own interests.
Do you know Victor Bout? Google it at tell me what do you think about this "businessman".

"dictatorships (like democracy) are evil and parasitic"
Is this your position or is it what all Objectivists think?
-
"The truth is in the middle."
No, the truth is in reality, and it's been proven countless times that dictatorships (like democracy) are evil and parasitic and that people thrive in freedom and have the right to live their lives as they want to. Isn't that obvious?!
Nice rape analogy.
