The Lingering Contractor

April 2009 Customer Success Story Contest: Video Submission.

This customer had purchased Logitech Digital Video Security system because there had been a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood. Several weeks after he purchased his video security system, he was investigating several roofing companies with the hope of finding a reasonably-priced company to install a new roof. So he called several roofing companies to come over to inspect his house and give him a bid. A salesman from a local roofing company met him at his house before work one morning and made him an offer. They both left the house and he went to work. He noticed, however, that the salesman lingered behind in the driveway as he pulled out and drove away.

After work, he was curious about why the salesman lingered about. So the customer reviewed the recorded video and discovered that the salesman waited until he was gone and preceded to use the side of his house as his own personal restroom. Needless to say, that roofing company did not get his business.

There are two cameras recording video for this compiled video segment: an Indoor Camera is used to monitor the front yard. An Outdoor Camera is mounted on the side of the house to monitor the gate to the backyard.
