  • I'm more like an in-between, I was a Toddler when the 80's ended, but the cultural after-taste was there.

I have a friend that said from 2000-2001 (pre 9/11) was "90's plus" and I said "from 90-92 was 80's plus".

at the beginning of a decade, you get the cultural after-taste of the last one, he same thing happened in the 60's and 70's.

My mom was a Hippy in the 70's.

I talk to guys 4 years older than me and they say I missed a lot and tell guys 4 years younger than me and say the same thing.

  • I also have to disagree with the Presidents. Obama is your Clinton and Reagan is our Bush. Does that make sense? haha.

  • Sorry, I have to disagree with Liz Phair being compared to Lady Gaga. A more fair comparison to Lady GaGa would be Madonna from the Justify My Love/Blonde Ambition era. Liz was the "grungy girl rock" of the 90's. The only fair "millennial" comparison to Liz would be Lily Allen. Lily has the same female driven, dirty sense of humor that Liz had. Both are very talented and each represents their time very well.

  • @MuskratandRatman "The children now love luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for authority, they show disrespect to their elders.... They no longer

rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents,

chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their

legs, and are tyrants over their teachers." Socrates - 390 BC

I myself am guilty of "gobbling up dainties at the table", especially the chocolate ones.

  • @choi4816

your generation is just as typical as any that came before it. It is the prime goal of any generation to dismiss the culture of the next as "uncivilized" or "immoral" or "uncreative." that is exactly what you and many generations before you have done and do.

  • the title is correct ... that's how I feel about the Y generation ... WHY !!!!

  • @SierraKilo9 Bring It Bitch!

  • missing in this video: 1.wayne gretzky vs sidney crosby 2. tupac vs lil wayne (though wayne sucks) 3. ken griffey jr vs evan longoria 4. mortal kombat vs cod 5. jerry springer vs jersey shore
