In the spirit of the NBA Playoffs, I decided to do this classic. I've always wanted to try it but never got around to it.

@WFChrisHammers It's called Roundball Rock and it's by John Tesh. It was written as the theme for the NBA on NBC from 1991-2002. Nelly sampled Roundball Rock in his song.

@WFChrisHammers "Heart of a Champion" actually samples much of the original NBA on NBC theme song, composed in 1990 by John Tesh, a greater, fuller rendition of which is heard right here in this wonderful video.

@WFChrisHammers The theme was created by John Tesh sometime during the early 90s, as the "NBA on NBC" debuted during the 1990-91 season, IIRC. It was heard regularly until 2002, at which point the contract between the two organizations ran out. However, NBC briefly brought back the theme during the 2008 Olympics.
