Remembering Our Heritage

The local manifesto of the PAP Aljunied GRC by the candidates of the People's Action Party (PAP), Mr George Yeo, Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, Zainul Abidin Rasheed, Cynthia Phua and Ong Ye Kang, called "Aljunied 10" has a 10 solid programmes catered to improve the lives of our residents in the next five years. To remember the 10 programmes , they have cleverly coined " Kuay Teow Hot & Nice", K meaning fostering Kampung spirit, U for further Upgrading, A for Ageing well, Y for helping Young family, T for better Transportation, E for good Eating and shopping, O for remembering Our heritage, W for Wide IT access, H for Healthy living, and N for enjoying Nature. In GE 2011, the PAP candidates will be facing a strong Opposition Team: Workers Party (WP) comprising of Low Thia Khiang, Sylvia Lim, Chen Show Mao, Muhammad Faisal Abdul Manan and Pritam Singh.
