@MioMio17402 Yea Ive actually seen that dudes comments on other Hyena videos, seemingly to irritate others..and he literally says the same thing on every one : "Hyena is Dog family.. not Cat family..." you know- a total troll. Oh well the Hyena is one of my Fav animals. :)

im guessing a, just because out of everyone who told them that hyena's aren't in the dog family, they just keep stating so. They also must not know how to work google to research. so, annoying, stupid, and lazy. TOTAL PACKAGE! xD

@bestamerica Hyenas are NOT DOGS. They're not even canines.
They're related to felines and viverrids in terms of evolution, but BEHAVIORALLY, they're close to canids.
However, hyenas are neither canines nor felines. They have their own family; the Hyaenidae. (Which, btw, are still a sort of Feliformia)

suprisingly hyena's are more closely related to moogose (which are in the cat family). They tend to be similar to wolves' b/c their ecological role is similar to wolves'. FOR ex: Their both are second top predectors in their area.

Hyenas have a much stronger bite than Lions but lions are faster, stronger, and have bigger and sharper claws/teeth. Hyenas are not dogs! Hyenas are not cats. Hyenas are hyenas. They have their own family. Just thought I would help clear up some facts.

You cant be serious? Do you have any idea the size difference between an APBT and a Spotted Hyena? Do you also know that Spotted Hyenas have the most powerfull Jaws in animal kingdom? A single bite from a Spotted Hyena on a Dog would result in death....
