N/B Amtrak Coast Starlight #14 went through Burbank Airport station. I met a youtube user, cchan006 at the station and he took a Surfliner to Van Nuys and then got on that #14.

I heard a "celebrity" will be on board the Coast Starlight from LA to Seattle, Sun Jun 13, 2010 - I hope Amtrak makes sure that the cars are spotless, the windows are clean, the toilets are working, the china and silverware are polished, and the staff ? the utmost in efficiency and courtesy ... who is that celebrity? Make reservations and find out !

You said a mouthful there. I tell a buddy of mine all day long if they run it like business they would do good. Instead the unions and government run the shit in the ground. Just like a plane ride. Should a 700 mile plane ride only be $150? Not likely. To get there in 3 hours it would be worth it to spend $500 on the plane ticket.
