This song can be taken in multiple ways, but as the video depicts, Miku is singing about the snow in literal terms. The picture shows Miku in light blue icy tones with a mini snowman resting on her head. A very youthful, innocent song about the memories and feelings felt at the sight of snow dancing within until the time comes for it to melt away.

"I like how a lot of Miku's songs can be interpreted a number of ways. In this case, it could be about longing for someone... or it could simply be about the youthful feelings you have playing in the snow.

But Miku is but artificial, and a plastic figure is as real as she's gonna get, hence "Fake Plastic Snow": an artificial world of snow.

My all-time favorite song -- can't get enough of it! "
