@ib422000 Man Of Mystery. Written by a chap called Michael Carr and a much slower orchestral version was used as the theme music for a series of British 'B' films of the Edgar Wallace mystery stories.

While I've been an avid fan for 50+ years and thought I've heard everything that he recorded, I'm obviously wrong! I'm most pleasantly surprised to hear something new! Oh my, he was such a total master of the guitar and truly the Country Gentleman. Thank you for sharing this recording!

Is this from a Chet Atkins single? I've never seen a single discography, only lp discographies of Chet. Did Chet have many single only releases?
