Lions For Lambs Trailer

Two determined students at a West Coast University, Arian and Ernest, follow the inspiration of their idealistic professor, Dr. Malley, and attempt to do something important with their lives. But when the two make the bold decision to join the battle in Afghanistan, Malley is both moved and distraught. Now, as Arian and Ernest fight for survival in the field, they become the string that binds together two disparate stories on opposite sides of America. In California, an anguished Dr. Malley attempts to reach a privileged but disaffected student, who is the very opposite of Arian and Ernest. Meanwhile, in Washington D.C. the charismatic Presidential hopeful, Senator Jasper Irving, is about to give a bombshell story to a probing TV journalist that may affect Arian and Ernest's fates. As arguments, memories and bullets fly, the three stories are woven ever more tightly together, revealing how each of these Americans has a profound impact on each other--and the world.

I really liked the fact that people are realizing only because of this movie but none the less. That the grunts are the lions being led by lambs. The taliban knows this. They see 2 guys fall out of a chopper they shot down and, then they still fight to the death. They refuse to be taken alive. Die on there feet even after falling out of a chinook. Don't matter if you kill them or not you still honor certain enemies is the point.

Yeah she plays the perfect role of a liberal dumbass. Who concentrates on the worst always and dwells in the same position for ages. While we servicemen who know the stakes always move forward mentally and physically. So don't preach to the choir. Ernie and Arian really exist that may not be the real people but there are men like that by the thousands in the military. So you look at ernie and arian and thats what the US arsenal consists of. Highly determined soldiers ready to fight to the death.

Meryl Streep is incredibly annoying in this film. She over-acts every single line and is just not believable in her role. Just sounds way too rehearsed.
