I LOVE the story and the 'body language' of the blob, especially when it's got 'attitude'. I really like the idea that the unknown 'thing' that drops from the sky is a benevolent alien. That's one of the things I always liked about the original Star Trek series. It was a change from the Kill The Alien viewpoint introduced during the Cold War. This had that same wonderful viewpoint ot two 'Others' coming together to form an alliance. It made me laugh out loud at a couple of points. Nice!
