i went to mac and NEVER going back to a pc. They are piece's of shit that get viruses and get slower by the minute, and that is a true fact.

The Worst Vista edition is Vista Starter. Starter can only run THREE programs at the same time. My Vista uses 10% CPU on Idle and 38% RAM on idle.

I never heard of 4TB RAM. Is that really possible?

You need a forty gigabyte harddrive, but it does not mean it uses 40GB. I don't believe the 4TB RAM is true, but even if it is, I doubt anybody has 4TB of RAM. Most people only have at most 4GB of RAM.

if an os uses more ram and processing power while it idles then there is less available for those games and programs you mention

Yes, because the quality of the OS is completely determined on the minimum system requirements and the idle run stats.  It has nothing to do with what kind of game and programs it can run.
