This is the plow blade I have been working on all finished up now. It was originally a 48" dozer blade for a Craftsman that was seriously abused and worn out. I had to custom build the mounting arm, and rebuild the pivot mount. Lot's of welding, grinding, and beating, and it looks a whole lot better. The blade was painted in Valspar from an automotive spray gun by me in my shop and the rest was powder-coated black except the main arm which was painted with a spray can. I am quite happy with the way it came out and can't wait to try it out in the snow...

  • I have a true Massey 530 Dozer Blade for a 12 lawn tractor for sale if you would like to buy it not sure on the price but if you would like to ask about it just respond back to this post.

To be honest, I will have the correct snowblower attachment finished for next winter. I have it stripped and in primer right now, I am just waiting so I have some time to do a little finish putty work to clean up the rust pitting before I paint it. The snowblower will replace the plow for 99% of all the work. I also have a Troy-Bilt tiller with the proper 36" blade if I wanted to do some light plowing or dirt moving. Thanks for the offer though!

  • if u wanna sell that let me know

  • @wt22fer Sorry, the tractor has a forever home with me here...

  • if u could get back to me on the paint u used im using some high performance paint for industrial equipment so its made to last but i wanta know if for the top coat put a tuff gloss or smething bc im still going to use it for wht is was made for i jsut need the paint to last with scratches

  • @TheJtractor If money is no object, I would be painting them all in DuPont Imron. It's expensive, and you might not be able to re-produce the gray, but a quart to do the red parts will work. It is one of the toughest paints I have ever seen. (And I used to paint cars for a living!)

  • Really nice job

  • Sweet Tractor!

  • @DeerParkAuto Whew! Close call on that one! I am glad you are keeping it and it should make a great tractor for you. The 12 hydro is a great machine, I am sure you will love it. I am going to subscribe to your channel so I can keep an eye out for the videos. Make sure to do a walk around before you do anything to it.

  • Nice...I am getting a real watching all these MF vids here. I have a MF12 my dad bought about 15 years ago before he passed, I've had it about 10. It's always been hard to start and never charged. It needed lot of work. Last time I shut it off is where it sat for 6 yrs. Until Now! I was gonna scrap it, then realized how well these old MF's were built. Now its get'n all re-done and I'll post here also. Its a MF12 with Hydra Static & Front Blade. Good vids & info. THANX I enjoyed them.
