  • I could get a brand new Porsche as a gift, and wouldn't like it as much as getting a new Camaro.

  • I would get a brand new Porsche as a gift and immediately sell it or trade it for a new Camaro lol

  • @Ltndoom

Porsche: The ultimate cars for douche bags.

  • @thedub007 i would love the porsche more than a camaro. you haven't driven or been in one. my dads 05 911 C4S makes at least 50 hp less and is still faster, sounds BETTER, and is better

  • @eldo59 GM USA doesn't but GM Holden does. The Australian wing of GM were entrusted with the job of developing the Camaro. They built the Pontiac GTO and G8, rebadged versions of the Holden Monaro and Commodore respectively. The coupe market in Australia is unpredictable, which is why most Australian muscle cars are sedans.

  • @meyersd66 If it were born in 1969, but can you imagine the kind of stink that would cause these days?

  • @ndyt Have you any idea jus thow many arguments were started about that body height? It's not the height that's the problem, it's Chevrolet softening the suspension. It sits on a shortened Holden Commodore floorpan, aka Pontiac G8. The roof height was a safety issue. Commodores don't do body roll like that because they have stiffer suspension.

  • @150peacemaker It's kind of sad that it took GM Holden Australia to do the development on what is the quintessential American muscle car. Holden designed a ball tearer, but Chevrolet's input consisted of instructions about how it looked sounded and drove, then they were handed the blueprints. The Pontiac G8, Pontiac GTO and the 2011 Chevy "police Caprice" are all Australian designs. Holden's engineers won't fail them but they should have done it themselves.

  • @Thyrion07 If Chevrolet had said "we want it REALLY loud," Holden would have done that in the production version. For some reason, Chevrolet wants to do the "warm, fuzzy and responsible" approach on the V6s. Either that, or they're worried it might mess with the Corvette market

  • @Mechknight73 ahh i see i see
