Fantastic! Go Glenda! She said everything that needs to be said. Such an intelligent woman. Funny how people who disagree have to resort to immature name calling! Its not the first time a woman has been attacked as a 'bitch' for standing up for her beliefs!

@Silkie341 has just demonstrated a complete lack of contact with anyone genuinely poor and a complete lack of understanding of the monetary system we are subjected to. Capitalism/consumerism relies on a class of people as a reserve labour force there to threaten the poorly paid with a worse life....so now these people are telling the system to shove it up their rear ends and they are being penalised.

Well done Glenda. They took my brother off incapacity and he was often in and out of mental institute. His doctor wrote him letter and gave sick notes but he was awarded no points. He couldn’t speak up for himself in assessment. And he had to go to try claim jobseekers instead, but disability adviser at Jobcentre told me not to let him go there by himself. He went many months without any money and was told to pay council TAX too that he is still paying.

Glenda Jackson was a gifted actress in the 60's, 70's and 80's and is has been an exremely hard working politcian and MPand advocate for the poor and vulneralble for nearly the past two decades.
