I was at Portsmouth on the 17th December filming the Portsmouth v Southampton game at Fratton Park for the BBC.
While rigging for the match on the saturday around 5pm we used a 86:1 box lens on one of our HD Sony 1500 cameras to capture this shot of Jupiter and it's 4 moons. Best Viewed in 720 HD of course.
You can also see it's four brightest moons (3 on the left, 1 on the far right), I'm not sure which one is which I'm afraid. I'm pretty sure Ganymede is on the far right, but I'm sure someone will be able to correct me on that.
Thanks to Liz on the Camera, Andy on EVS and Steve for capturing it on FCP for me. All of us work for SIS LIVE - www.sislive.tv
