Cris has always had solid bass lines. I would argue that his bass lines are better than any other grunge band which came after the Meat Puppets. I just saw them at Summerfest, and Cris went on a 2 minute groovey rampage in the middle of Backwater while Curt was wailing on a solo.

OK best pups vid I've seen in a long while. Cris is finally loud enough to be heard! Although I crave the old days where Cris had killer volume, almost in the Phil Lesh area. Its a trio, the bass should be kicking. Both Cris and Shandon are kicking major butt on this one, I've never seen Shandon so tight yet so groove-eyy. Of course Curt is always on. Can't wait to see them again, thx.
