Something I put together from a discarded documentary project. It used to be online until pulled for musical copyright issues last year. I'm putting it back up under the 'fair use' clause.

This is also a homage to an excellent martial arts videographer, Andy Helm, who passed in 2007.

i just wish the women in my karate class could hold a candle to these women in terms of being determined.

in my class, the Sensei treats the girls with kid-gloves and the girls complain when they're put on equal footing with the guys.

im not saying guys are better, but if, like in many dojos i've fought in, the sensei treats the girls with kid-gloves, then they'll never be like the girls in these videos.

treat men and women equally in the dogo, and you have tough girls

I haven't seen anything since I found that film, probably ten years ago now.  I don't follow the tournament scene anymore so she may still be out there.
