And I still find myself disappointed in the ending. Having the greatest character, with the most growth and depth end the entire series by murdering someone? I found it a very unsatisfying ending. Not the feeling of shock and, "OMG, why didn't I guess it sooner!" that one usually gets from a good murder mystery. No, it was more of a tragic ending for me. It leaves me feeling a bit hopeless instead of the way the series has inspired me up until now.
Sorry, babe. It was good, but it left me sad

When the guy walked in as Bette, I nearly died laughing. It's great he knew the exact lines.....too funny.

Indeed Jenny is the one who is dead meat.

I want you to know I am sitting in the library watching this again and laughing. Even though I am only reading your lips; "I will not abide. Anyone. Who threatens my family." You are so fun to watch.
I watched the episode again and I have to admit you are right. It was undoubtedly Bette. She had the best motive and opportunity, and the most guilt in the interrogation. Lots of little clues like you said. However, I honestly don't think it was motive enough for her character to commit murder.

:-) Bette does goof up a lot, I think her slaying of Jenny is symbolic of her slaying her own demons. Bette and Jenny are two different variants of the same personality: "complex, talented, occasionally generous but very... complex." Bette is what happens when that type evolves and matures in the light... Jenny is what happens when that type goes wrong and gets buried in darkness.
