Grand is the right word for this great theme song. I wish this short-lived show would make it to DVD. I was 12 or 13 when this show premiered and fell in lust with Sable(Stephanie Beacham) from the start.

@hshawn00 The old soaps were trashy of course because they represented the materialistic Reaganite era of conspicious consumption, but they seemed to have a certain classiness to them too, that I think modern shows lack.

@TheMCEurope Honey check your ears. This is not the same theme from Dynasty. They are similar but not the same. I think this theme is much grander than even Dynasty.

I disagree - Bill Conti was in top form here as far as TV Themes go...Compared to what is considered a TV theme show today this is like a symphony..The Show however failed to capture the Dynasty audience...
