I'll Be a Good Boy

One of the most heart-wrenching, emotional clips I've ever watched. In this scene from The Basketball Diaries, Jim Carrol (Leonardo DiCaprio) has a complete meltdown when he hits bottom in his heroin addiction. This was pre-Titanic DiCaprio, before he became a heart-throb, when he still had to do some actual acting.

omg leo... he gives me chills in this scene.. you know he can really act when you feel what he feels... when he starts freaking out and cry it makes me wanna cry.. he look so terrible and it tears me apart.. BEST acter in my book... bravo dicaprio bravo!

@melodypaige2009 Agreed. A real actor doesn't act really good. He doesn't act at all. He *becomes* the character. Leo is a real actor. So is Gary Oldman. So was Heath Ledger. Helena Bonham-Carter is awesome too. But some of the most "successful" actors out there aren't all that good. They're just good at delivering lines. But they wind up doing the same character in every movie, and you don't see any character. You just see Tom Hanks, Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts.
