That is discrimination but not only for men, but for women who arent the typical "cheerleader, surfer girl" that really looks like Pamela Anderson in her Baywatch days and a Covergirl model at the same time. Alot of the Hooter's girls say that they make good money, why wouldnt you wanna give a chance like that to everyone?

each Hooters Girl is a symbol and a representative of the "Hooters image". and they ARE entertainers, like cheerleaders. Made to do birthday and bachelor party cheers, silly choreographed dances, hula hoop, dress-up for promotional events, put on a bikini for a charity car wash. These are all things that are REQUIRED for a Hooters Girl to be willing and able to fulfill her responsibilities. Anyone who thinks Hooters Girls are JUST waitresses, doesn't have a clue about being a Hooters Girl.

what a bunch of idiots. if he wants to work at hooters SO bad, he can shake wings in the kitchen and enjoy the view. there is no "wait staff" at hooters, just hooters girls, and kitchen staff, he has to pick, that means he applied for "hooters girl" or a position that they don't even offer! hooters doesn't discriminate against men but against ANYONE who can't uphold the image "the all-american cheerleader, surfer girl, girl next door". that's straight from the handbook and this guy just CANT!

ELNELLO35, it's not your fault. You just do not know that federal law says that the entertainment industry can use gender to pick parts, etc. So, do not worry. Your favorite actors, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, and topless bar performers are all safe! Serving food is serving food no matter how you decorate the servers.
