  • Thanks Mr Wilson, for your words my husband was just given news from his doctor he has prostate cancer (early stage but treatable) he is 40 years old. we have chosen also to go ahead with the robotic surgery as well.. he is quite young for this rare situation but i know as years go things change. so I am grateful you have posted your results and the way you got back healthy and all. Thanks and GOD bless you.

  • @MikeMeldan MIke, I'm sorry you had such a rough time, and I offer my best wishes for a full recovery and a cancer-free future, BUT, I'm going to have to side with Donnie on this one. I just had the surgery 2/16/12, and I was sore but up and about the following day when I went home. On day 3, I was driving and shopping. Sounds to me like your doc's trying to cover his ass (mistakes). He didn't mention impotency??? He says 3 weeks is as likely as 3 days??? Post his name so we can run from him.

  • Here’s my story. Thursday, Feb 16, 2012, 2:00 PM into surgery. 5:00 PM into recovery room, 30 minutes later to a private room. Voice is hoarse from the breathing tubes inserted during the procedure. Released the following day - home at 3:00 PM. Sore around the waist and the sites of the probes. Rested Saturday but was ambulatory. Day 3, Sunday, Feb 19, showered, drove to store and went grocery shopping. Monday, shopped at Wal-Mart. Tuesday, Feb 21, day 5, drove to work, lunch w/friends.

  • PART 2 of PLEASE READ. There are after-effects your doctor may not tell you. Your penis loses sensitivity. It also shrinks (from the urethra being shortened.) You will become impotent. Don't misunderstand......living beats not having a sex life. I am writing this because I want every man to know the whole story and not just what this guy expounds on. It is NOT peaches and cream as he relates. If you want more truthful insight from one who's been through it, send me a message.

  • PLEASE READ. I was unable to leave comments on his first video (after 3 days from surgery.) If you take what he says as "gospel" you are being COMPLETELY MISLEAD! I had the exact same surgery he had back on September 20th. I was in the hospital for 1 full week and then ANOTHER 2 WEEKS AT HOME. My doctor told me that is much more likely than walking around after 3 days. He made it sound like you'd be up and about in 3 days. That is B.S! Plan on having a 2-3 week recovery at best. MORE....
