In some of their albums Drudkh use the lyrics of Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko.

Drudkh means ''wood'' in romanized Sanskrit, one of the earliest attested members of the Indo-European language family.

@RaabMC Yep the majority of these are done by ear, aside from the more mainstream songs (immortal/emperor). Right now I'm working on 'Into the Painted Grey' from Agalloch's new CD, been over a year since I've had/played guitar!

I love everything Drudkh's done, when I get time I plan on working on some of the earlier CD's, Autumn Aurora is one of my favorites. Peste Noire is a favorite of mine as well, will definitely see about covering some stuff.

The kh is silent, or at least a hard "H" sound. That's my understanding of it at least.
