September 23, 2010:

Toronto's winning bid for the 2015 Pan Am games is an enormous boost for the West Don Lands, which is the site of the Games' 2,100 unit Athletes' Village. Designed and managed by Waterfront Toronto, this Village will be a showcase of modern design, sustainable architecture and technological innovation.

Former Ontario Premier and Pan Am Games Bid Chair David Peterson and Vancouver 2010 Olympic Village architect Stuart Lyon will discuss the positive impacts and community benefits created by international sporting events, and the likely influence the 2015 Pan Am Games on the development of the West Don Lands.
