I think that the problem with the world is that we have tend to forget about history repeating it self. You would think that with all of the technological advances that we have now things would be different. You would think as a society would have enlighten ourselves and grown. I think the way that things could change is if business would start thinking in a home town mind of thinking. I think this would work if we could think of a way to take greed out of the equation.

If there was less of us it could be done so easily

@AwakenSafely ..and slowly gaining control of our government, through lobbying, the "revolving door," and corporate personhood. Its not an exaggeration to say a coup is being carried out, slowly, economically, in the US. It is of critical importance that we stop the corporate takeover of the US government. Im sure, understanding their sociopathic nature now, you can guess why that is the case. Its incredibly foolish to allow sociopaths who view you as competitors to take over your government.

@AwakenSafely "If it's true, then that's a very worthy goal." It IS true. But, understand, the media is corporate owned. Their interests are not the movements interests or YOUR interests. Which is why Im being a stickler for details here. They have tried to first black the movement out, and when we forced it into public awareness via social media, they are now trying to skew the message to alienate people. This is a serious high stakes game here. Corporations have been systematically.....

@AwakenSafely Well, I dont mean to be nit picky, but it really is pretty crucial for all of our sake that we see the problem for what it really is. It is our collective misunderstanding of what corporations are, what they do, combined with deliberate propagandizing by those corporations to appear to be "good guys" that has us in this situation. They have done and are doing horrible things to people in poor nations. We do NOT want them to take total control in the US. I promise you that.

@Alyseal interesting...I experienced exactly this situation in my mortgage business. Precisely this. Obviously, this was a problem which had global participation and the scenario was mind-bogglingly multi-faceted. But you just described the eventual demise of one of the enterprises I've helped to start in my day....

@Alyseal excellent. Thank you for that!

@AwakenSafely no, I dont think you resist it. I dont think you care about it at all other than to use it for discussion. I think you can unintentionally harm it by misinforming people of a key distinction they really really need to understand right now. If you really care about humanity, you would not want to misinform people about something that is placing their democracy at serious peril. And their lives, really, because people are losing their homes medical care, and livelihoods.

@AwakenSafely be taxed at a higher rate. That was intended to make them LESS competitive. (To balance out the advantage they got from being sociopathic, and to provide revenue to help deal with the ramifications of their actions) So when you hear corporations whining about how unfair it is they are taxed more than individuals, remember, they are so by design to help keep the market balanced enough that other individuals and business forms have some prayer of competing.
So loving this important conversation & your insightful considerations
