my name is Ed Bailey. I have a degree in both wildlife biology and animal science. also i am a proffesional trapper. my family of 5 depends on trapping for our livelyhood. if i didnt trap my six year old boy and 2 3 year old daughters wouldnt have a roof over their head and food on the table. so does that make it wrong? ill be straight up with everyone, traps do hurt. ive been caught on numerous occasions by accident. but i have every digit to my name still. bottom line: its a way of life

Go look up your peta and green peace people. That is a such a pointless organization. They sit and make money hand over fist and do nothing. Leathers seats in cars, office, at home, leather jackets etc.. Go look them up. Every single one of them. I am sorry, but people who make 250,000 a year dont sit on or in polyester furniture. Does anyone who answers against animal control use there brains? It is a proven fact almost 40% of wild animals will not live to spring. Starvation, sickness, over crowding etc.. Not one person thinks about this. So it is alright for them to become diseased etc and die and have dead wild animals laying all over then to actually make a good use for them. We vare actually giving them a fighting chance to survive. Can you not imagine rabies in 20 fold? Ya didnt think so.

I have been caught by several traps, across the fingers, hands etc. It does not hurt, it will surprise you, but does not hurt you. Everyone walks around uneducated about the matter. Why dont you go find a leghold trap and find out for yourself. You have seen first hand in all of these shots, those animals were not harmed in no way shape or form.

I think a lot of people don't understand this way of life. I was brought up trapping with my grandfather since i was 6 i never cried over the animals i caught does that make me a monster? No its life and its been this way dating back to early humans. As far as fair chance it is that person who says the the "99 to 100%" chance that they will b caught is wrong. There is a 28% catch rate on raccoons and of that 28% only 76% will be kept the others are still in the wild.

NO, find the trapper and snap a trap on their balls. Let them have their balls amputated so they cannot reproduce. That would speed up human evolution. It is no longer the 18th century. Most intelligent humans today are beginning to realize this method of trapping is inhumane, sadistic and cruel.
