  • goto41 well they did it through an organization called the CIA.if you read about the cia in 50's and 60's they did it to alot of countries chile, nicaragua, angola, Iran, cuba, argentina just to name a few. In a poor country its remarkably easy(with unlimited resources)you destablize the country and then bribe a few army generals and viola. you got yourself a coup

  • He's saying that the US "State Executive" instituted dictatorships in the countries that surround Vietnam and Cuba? I believe him, but how is that possible?

  • I doubt any "liberal" univ prof would discuss the domino theory as some sort of certainty. Now a conservative prof, sure. They do all the time. And yes: Contrary to popular belief by conservtive assfucks of every stripe, there are PLENTY of conservative academics.

  • I thought he meant that if Japan developed an independant role in Asian affairs in the 60s. It would be the same as if the Americans had lost WW2 in the first place.

  • your welcome! and yes, its slowy warming up here :)

  • Thanks Perussaataja, I was just checking that I understood him properly, hope it'd warming-up in Finland.

  • yea he ment if Japan had gained power in 60s, that would mean that USA couldnt stop Japan´s rise to power which was USA´s object in WWII in Pasific--> that would mean USA had lost WWII afterwards.

  • At 5.16 the clip repeates. At 6.28 he talks about losing WW2 in the 6o's ?? " in 1961 the US was not prepared to lose the 2nd World War" Does he mean lose what they gained in the 2nd world war?
