@garanzbrah while I agree that they should have gotten an Asian person, let's remember that Goku was not Japanese, he was Saiyan. This snafu I could have forgiven if they'd just followed the source material properly, but this story was worst and they got the an even worse actor to play the lead. My stance: I would have been 100% cool with this movie (as casted and story) with a kid playing Goku.

i heard people ranting on about how shit this movie was....but i was like there over doing it and so on....so i gave it a chance....and sadly all of what is said is true..This makes power rangers look decent....the plot is shit, the actors are shit, the fighting scenes are shit.

Theres no relations of the main characteristics with goku and all the other characters..Who thinks a kamehameha is used to light up candles. WTF.. Im really dissapointed but had fun bagging it with mates after the movie

@bkjaxon Yeah I guess. But I would think it would be some kind of Asian since the series is loosely based on the Chinese folklore. Studios have f'ed up many things so they can be unique and "different" from the originals. Just follow it dammit! I don't even have to mention all of them. I've heard they screwed up the Aragon dragon movie so bad that they can't continue on with the series. hahah

if jackie chan was just 30 years younger he would play the perfect goku

he's got the moves AND jackie chan can play that innocence and i cant think of anyone that can play it better if u watched his movies he always plays as that guy that doesnt know why someone attacks him and almost playfully fight back and is in complete control of it
