@oneofakindtoo The winter tick ONLY feeds on Moose...The ticks that spread disease are the ones that bite multiple animals...For instance the Deer tick feeds on white tailed mouse( which are the natural reservoir for Lymes Disease) and then they spread it to other animals when they bite humans, dogs, cats etc...So the ticks that spread disease are the ones that feed on multiple animals...The Winter tick only feeds exclusively on Moose...so it's not going to be a vector for any illness
