Southern Indiana Flood June 2008

Owen and Morgan County three days after the near record breaking flood.
Railroad bridge washed away, mud slide moves house, flood water washes out road leaving a thirty foot drop twenty to thirty feet wide. flooded cars and homes.

This is the town I live in,it sucks cause my grandma and grandpa lost their home and had to be rescued by boat

i lived there for a short time many years ago. too many people lost there homes. hopefully alot of people will be back to normal soon, though losing there entire home has got to be one of the worst things but at least they got out ok. hopefully they can rebuild better then before.best wishes to your grandparents.

yes it's really sad, some of the areas had been hit by a tornado just a few yrs prior to this.

unfortunately, i'm just watching these videos. with family and friends, stretched from indianapolis to just north of gosport. i do not believe it was right for me to be in the desert and not have to endure this with them.

we are just getting over our 2006 floods here in bloomsburg pa 4' in our living rooms

I know what your going through

and wish you all the luck

things will get better and I don't know about there but thank god for the red cross

this didn't show up in my comment alert section for some reason. flood insurence in the desert is pretty reasonable the land isn't use to rain and the drainage systems probably arn't made for alot of rain just thinking of a csi episode.
