Jerry Goodman!!! He got me started on jazz. Mahavishnu. John McGlaughlin. Er, WOW. That band must have truly startled some stoners :) Because for one thing, McGlaughlin likes to play at Who levels :) I KNOW.
The first time I saw them I was in front of the stage and after they did there Introduction the sound just blew me away and it felt like they pick me up off my feet and threw me into the back row it was such a great feeling

Listen to the Flock. They played live in the Netherland at the Grand Gala du Disque.
Everybody didn't know what to do with their music. I was one of the people who did like it and I still do so.

It was the only "big band" I would listen too in 1970;still have the original album.
Too bad NHRA came out will the 1962 or newer rule in Stock Eliminator; killed all the 55-57 Chevies. Still see the odd one in Super Stock though.
