My Good Off Brand Green Laser Pointer! :)

This is a 5mW Green Laser Pointer that my friend bought for me for Christmas online at Amazon.com for $18.00 ($23 with shipping)

It seems kinda off brand, but is still a great laser, in my opinion, for that price.

NOTICE: Do NOT shine ANY laser at ANY living thing, especially the eyes. Just a word of warning. If you see in my video, I stop shining the laser when a car (or i suspect) is going to go by.

@unclealig - It is some youtube default. They disabled the sound on my video cause I put a mix of copyrighted music so i had to change it to something on youtube's music list.

On Amazon, it reads, "Output power:>5mW, wavelength: 532nm." for a green laser pen.

Doesn't >5mW mean Above 5mW of power? This concerns me because I don't wish to buy one too overpowered, but other than that, it seems great to buy. Please reply when possible.

Well, if you want to use the laser outside of your home and point in the sky (legally) and you live in the US and you want to have a laser that is almost 100% safe to eyes, then 5mW is your limit, which is the laser you see in the video. On my laser it says "Output Power <5mW"

Always remember never point them out of a moving car, The beam is visible in mid air & people with cell phones will call the cops at the near by rest area & they will pull your car over that your mom is driving & be an A** Hole to you :-)

Had one back when they were like $100 But it broke, Need to get another cheap one to play with, I have some X,Y, scan mirrors from old laser disc players & they look really cool when you hook stereo sound to them & Fog!

Ya, lol, Once we were sitting as a train went by. There was the Train, then the first guy at the crossing, then us. I rolled down the window and started to shine it on the train cars as they went by and the 2 guys in front of us were wondering where the heck it was coming from! lol But ya, NEVER shine it from a vehicle, never shine at a car or persons eyes and NEVER AT PLANES (Federal crime). :0

yea thats true just last year i bought a laser for $235 in 2 weeks it got sooo boring...

i had no clue on what to do with it... so i just ended up giving it to my cousin

big waste of money never buying lasers over $40.

um excuse me there are 200mW green lasers that cost $100...and some are tested at 210mW.

and the beam looks like a light saber in the night sky extending out to 3 miles..

but yea i agree lasers are pretty useless to play with.
