Today we made a beat to an acapella we got from an upcoming rapper from Chicago. He impressed us with his songs, so we decided to lay something down for him. Later that night we was working on some tracks with Qasual, and upon hearing our Young Blaze remix, he decided to lay down a hook idea that came to him. it takes a lot longer than this video akes it seem mixing levels and effects takes a while. the longst thing to me is sound searching. just going through all the sounds and deciding which ones they like. those people sample. i can spend 30 minutes up to 2 hours on a beat. just messing with the levels and putting finishing touches. some people say it takes them 10 minutes. those are the usually the producers that sample and just have to make drums
