just a short example of the video from the d5000 it has been compressed down from 300mb to 70mb so bare that in mind as it has effected the quality a fair bit. first half was with an old 50mm F1.8 Ai-S lens and second with standard 18-55 kit lens
hey, it depends on how much money you want to spend. i have the standard 18-55mm kit lens just now and the results are good enough if you are just starting out. you can see my photography with it on flickr/paulmcginley i also use an 1980's nikon F1.8 lens which is awesome as it was only £/€30!
im looking to buy a Tamron 18-270mm soon these are around €400
