Level 42 DOES CREAM!!!! L42 going 'off setlist'!! A real rarity here!

Well this is an occasional thing for Level 42, but to my knowledge they haven't done it for a while At Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on 14th October 2010 they started doing Love Games for an encore (that's 'off setlist' too, but Mark had been playing around with it for a couple of nights previously) and Mark just went into Cream's 'Sunshine Of Your Life' in the middle of Love Games! As you can see, they returned to Love Games, but it was a great example of their musicianship as both Love Games and SOYL were quite obviously impromptu!!
Lovely moment of this most fantastic 30th Anniversary Tour - it's very rare for them to do anyone else's material!

ah, yes. They did this in Anaheim, CA. too. I posted the vid from that here too.

I see they worked out a better transition between the two songs now though. ;)

@Girlin204 Oops! Thanks for that! I did a bit of research, especially amongst the knowledgeable afficionados of the band and no-one could remember when they'd last done this - should have also looked on here then, shouldn't I?!!! I don't know if it was the same when they did it over in Anaheim, but Mark took the band completely by surprise! As I said, it shows what great musicians they are though that they just join in and go along with it, with great success.

Was there too - great to see them in Bournemouth and to shake hands at end of the gig. That wasnt possible when sitting at the back of the NEC once upon a time!
