sesame street- cookie monster letter of day skit (letter E)

here is the second funny cookie monster thing I found.

In this skit, cookie monster shows that the letter of the day is the letter E. And to be sure he doesn't eat it, cookie monster tries to give it to some lions, and tigers, and bears (Oh My!, theres a little wizard of oz humor there.) But as for them, cookie monster made a mistake letting them take the cookie because they want to eat it as much as he does.

I don't own sesame street or anything on this tape. it all belongs to their respective owners and I own nothing of it. This is just for entertainment purposes.

From 2:06-2:08, with Cookie Monster saying he needs to plan the letter of the day cookies more carefully, if Kermit The Frog was still on Sesame Street (Kermit The Frog was taken off Sesame Street in 2001), maybe Cookie Monster could give the letter "E" cookie to Kermit since Kermit The Frog teaches the monsters (including Cookie Monster) the meaning of certain things where Kermit would help take care of the letter "E" cookie better than the lion, tiger, and bear.

I can understand how disappointed Cookie Monster felt at the end that he ate the letter "E" cookie but, if anyone was going to eat the cookie, at least it was him since he was the one who showed the "E" cookie to the audience.

Even though the lion, tiger, and bear said that they want to eat the "E" cookie but, from 1:09-1:23, they look like they were trying to eat Cookie Monster. However, if they wanted to eat the "E" cookie, I wonder why they didn't just grab it out of Cookie Monster's hand (of course, do all three of them have enough to share for the three of them?)
