I actually know her somewhat personally. She is a family friend. She even stayed at my house once when she performed at the Plymouth County Fair in LeMars, Iowa. Shawn really didn't want to win. Should she have? Probably. But she didn't want to have to be controled like that. She got what she wanted: top three :) She's so amazing and such a sweetheart! When she went to her hometown of May City, i took the hour road trip to see her. Simply amazing :)

Omg, I was just in Nashville this past weekend and watched her play at the Whiskey Bent Saloon. I was so shocked to hear how amazing her voice was. It sucks that its that hard to make it over there. Here in Arkansas (not that were known for much music) she would be headlining everywhere.

That's so cool you actually know her!! I think it's for the best she didn't win, she'll make it in the business somehow, there's too much talent there to be passed up :)

Even though she wasn't the "Nashville Star" winner, like Shawn said, "Miranda Lambert was 3rd place too" She'll do good :)
