Not associated with those responsible with organizing community school. Just a long time student and fan who took a few photo's and videos the night of the final show.
It is for those 16 and older, everyone volunteers their time to teach and organize the school year. The final class is a big party showcasing what everyone has done, shows are put on and displays circle the room. After there's munchies and cake in the basement.
New classes are added every year, some are taken down. Sometimes classes are canceled if a teacher becomes unavailable or the class size is too small.
The home brewing class is always a big hit because it means there's some tasting to be done final night (you can occasionally see cups on the display tables lol)
They've also taught Tai Chi, Crafting, and Drama in the past.
There are also a lot of classes that don't have a show to put on or a display, like Chess, yup you can learn to play it right!
It's always a lot of fun to look forward to every year.
I've been going since I was 15 (shhhhh don't tell anyone lol) and only stopped while I was away at college.
I took all the photo's/video footage to create this video/
Great video of the Missisquoi Community School which is now a group on facebook that you can join!
