this is a little over-edited. i'm a huge fan of vacuum forming videos, so i expect a good story-line. i would have appreciated a little bit of continuity in these shots. but a fine attempt!

I use to vacuum form for a living . It looks like in the video that you are not getting enough detail. What would help is to drill some small holes around the seams on the mold .Drill all the way threw the mold so the plentom can pull the vacuum threw. The places you drilled should not show up on the finished product. I hope this helps you.

@predator3134 It's a sheet of polystyrene (a type of plastic). Very common for basic vacuum forming. Cools to a hard stiff plastic.

Plastic is about 1.5-2mm thick polystyrene. My university buys it in large bulk sheets from...somewhere.
