They were/are both good-looking men, but no way would anyone mistake one for the other, then even less than now. Listening to this, the thought arises that since they were the same size, Jansen simply _shed_ that snakeskin and sewed it into same-size pants for Jim. But maybe there's a reason to say that which defies apparent reason but seems to answer to some exigency,. Maybe Jansen was truly JIm's friend and probably a nice guy, but, boy, I hate this story! What kind of _jerks_ would do that?

50% true i think !!

Waaaaay cool that they got someone who actually knew Jim Morrison to talk about his memories with Jim! Thanks to all involved!!

@Snotra Dude this guy is not full of shit. Do the research. It is very rare that January did interviews. This guy was the man that made ALL of Morrison's leathers. He made them to fit himself knowing that he and Morrison were the same size. It was also well known that they both had similar looks. Read alittle more and you will find that he was very involved in the early days with Jim.

@shatterdwing I wholly agree in that while Morrison and Jansen may have been close associates who buddied around, it's rather a stretch to call him Morrison's "best friend."

I meant he was NOT commander of the USS Liberty. Most aryan nation people are repressed homosexuals and losers with small peckers that can't get laid. So blaming Jews for everything makes them feel like they are part of something. Anyone with access to non neo-nazi websites can debunk this morons BS in 2 seconds.
I think this guy is full of shit.

He's telling the truth. Although I don't know if he could be described as Jims best friend. Jim didn't really have one 'best' friend but the closest I would say was Babe Hill.
