DIY Sump and overflow Part 4

This is a DIY overflow and sump I made for about $50-$60 using a 10 gallon tank, specimen boxes and silicone tubing.

what did you do with the air pump? the one that you need all the way at the top of the overflow box. does it stay there constantly or ir was just for the beginning to get the air out. since the little hose was there, does water come out of there or did y seal it? also y did some of your fish n coral died?

@totallydude198969 Only Used to start the siphon. Later learned I could stick some flexible tubing into the middle, suck the air out of the overflow tube and then pull the flexible tube out afterwards. A bit tricky, but got the hang of it.

always have your return a slower rate than your drain...you're overflow will only drain as much that is pumped back up

hey that green spotted puffer that you have it is quite an aggresive fish and is a natouris fin nipper. If i were you I wouldent put those maroon clowns in with the puffer.Just a heads up.
