Red Hurley performing "When", the Irish entry at the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest.

A bit too melodramatic and old-fashioned song and performance for my taste, to be honest, but one that is worth mentioning because of composer Brendan Graham, who would go on to helm 3 more Irish entries, including not one, but two ESC winners - 1994's "Rock 'N Roll Kids" and 1996's "The Voice".

  • @JHollowayNetwork It's probably the spanish way of spelling Ireland. Like in Germany it's Irland.

  • @JHollowayNetwork That's the way it's spelled in Dutch.

  • yep very old fashioned even for 1976 - not a bad singer though
