this song always reminds me of how we as humans know little to nothing. Love the mysterious vibe.
Sounds like a tune that would fit fallout 3 or some other post apocalyptic environment.

this song/intro is dedicated to Adam's dog, Eon. a great Dane, who died when Adam was a teenager i believe. This song is dedicated in his memory, to me, its like a ressurection. The dog Eon, is lost, in the darkness. hes running, and running, unaware. His shadow is kinda fading, and hes running. It goes along with this song, i think.

@mrd5653 No not the guitar I know how to play that im talking about the actual part this guy created at the end

@sappypesticide are you talking about the sound at the beginning? if you are, i don't know if you play guitar or anything, but if you have an acoustic type guitar and you lightly pluck the strings as close to the bridge as possible, that kinda sounds that way.

@sappypesticide it's feedback with noise removal. i do the same thing with my guitar. I'm not sure if he does it the same way, but that's one way to do it

@blitzedge lmfao

the song is really short considering a name like Eon

R.I.P. Eon!

@sappypesticide brand new slinky strings, set your amp to a clean channel that has some twang to it, light tape echo if you have the option. I can re-create this perfectly on my spider valve 100.

blitzedge — 26 May 2006 — This is a small video I made for Eon Blue Apocalypse by Tool.
I think that might have been the first clue...
wow this is awesome, especially at the end - how did you do that?!

@merc3desah Thank you for the compliments. This was a small project working with green screening and movement in Adobe Premiere (video editor). Since I love Tool and I work in the video editing industry, I couldn't think of a cooler project to do.
