This video is about the monster as father (not the doctor despite how the book is read!). I re-read "Frankenstein" a few months back and was quaked. I've been considering a lot of theories that go along with the nameless one in that book. But one that blew me away was given to me by my professor. She told me to remember the monster was made up of many bodies - in other words he's all of us.
guess i made this video in the spirit of father's day. It's for my parents, a few teachers, and a dear friend (and they each play roles in all those categories). Not in the mood for hallmark scam cards, flowers sent to a grave, or for even photos of my dear ones put to music for a tribute right now. but it's still made for them, what they've experienced, what i've learned, and meeting up throughout our lives. i always thought the song here was cheesy, but these last few days the simple lyrics and powerful cry seem to draw up thoughts i have.
FYI:there are some bits from 1994 Frankenstein and then the old Boris one too, but mostly i glued many scenes from "Espiritu de la Colmena"/"The Spirit of the Beehive" together. Great film, give a watch sometime.
