The Turbo 500 is nothing short of a revolution in home distillation. It's the only system of its kind to allow you to distill alcohol to commercial standards in the home.

Here at Love Brewing, Richard is the UK's leading expert in the T500 and the Still Spirits range, and in this video he talks us through the construction and usage of the T500.

  • nice vid richard,i think so long as users are sensible the authorities will turn a blind eye.is it worth prosecuting someone costing £1,000's of pounds for this small amount of alcohol distilled

  • Obviously the laws regarding home distilation are (thankfully :) relaxed. I think they will mostly turn a blind eye. But if you start to sell vodka then you'll probably be prosecuted and also you'll spoil it for the rest of us as they'll become more leniant and they're likely to stop the sale of these awesome devices.

IMO If you plan on buying one, then buy one ASAP because they might be taken off sale, the excuse a lot of people are using is that "I'm using it for the creation of bio-fuel" ;)

  • @whiterabbitjohn you can get this and other "reflux" stills at "milehihi" and the best stills you can buy come from "coppermoonshinestills,com"......

  • @whiterabbitjohn Thanks for the feedback. Making these videos is new for us, and we hope they prove useful. We hope to improve the quality of the production in future, as it's a bit of a steep learning curve!

If there's anything you're not sure of, or you'd like any further information, please let us know.

  • I might buy one if the guy would talk louder and not whisper the last part of all his sentences

  • No problem making your mash using molasses and then running this through the still.
