  • The Sensor and Sensor Excel cartridges are still made, but not the razor handles. Same thing with the Trac II and Atra. Sensors sold well until the 1998 introduction of the Mach 3,surpassed by the 2006 introduction of the Fusion.

  • @arhuxtable

I have Mach 3 & Fusion and like Mach 3 better. I'm liking Fusion more after the cartridges are used for a while. When it was new, I got cut a lot & it irritated my face. I like the single blade on the other side after getting used to it. I'm not yet sure if in the future I'll get Mach 3 cartridges or Fusion cartridges when my current Fusion cartridges get worn out.

  • This was taken from an airing on New York-based WPIX Channel 11 which I naturally received back home in New Jersey. Small world, isn't it? Can't get it here in Florida, that's for sure. That's the channel the WB network operated on. I only got to witnness WPIX when I went on vacation to Atlantic City,NJ 9 times since moving to FL.

  • I bought my Gillette Sensor razor in 1991 and used it until I bought my Mach 3 in '98. I have used the Sesnor Excel cartridges also, which debuted in 1995. I can also tell you that Gillette released its Mach 3 razor on June 28,1998,the very first triple blade razor. Schick introduced its Quatro(4 blades) so Gillette created a 5-blade razor called the Fusion(6 including the precision blade in the back of the cartridge) which debuted on February 12,2006.

  • Gilette theme song is the only reason I looked for this ad.

  • lol at independent suspension

like it's a car or something

  • Gotta love that Gilette theme song!
