Vasa Previa

I am posting this video up as I think more awareness needs to be there. I lost a baby from suffering from this condition and as it was not picked up prenatally it led to neo-natal death. I want others to be aware and for women to incorporate the check into their prenatal care - color doppler can be done at 18 wks to check for this.

Thanks for sharing. So sorry for your loss. I am preg w/twins and just found out the boys has vasa previa.. People really need to be aware of this.

I am so sorry for you loss. I cant begin to imagine the pain you both went through. You are both very brave to be able to stand up and speak out on such an important issue for pregnant women. Thank you for helping to inform the rest of the world.

I live in the US and have been diagnosed with Complete Placenta Previa. They will be checking for this condition at my next ultrasound on Jan 4th.
