  • Never we will hear again in houses such an incandescent sound with as much metal and many high harmonics as Giacomo's. So who cares if he's somewhat flirting with pitch as says MPM1943 below ?

  • I wish all our current tenors with their engorged and backward placed voices could flirt with intonation like Lauri-Volpi because of an "excess" of metal, sparkling high harmonics and incandescent squillo like his... His placement, his emission, his trumpeting sound are the most thrilling that ever came out of a tenor's mouth.

  • @Baritanist LAURI VOLPI S VOICE MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE MOST FREE LEAST CONSTRICTED VOICE EVER . TRY LISTENING TO HIS A TE OCARA. HES DRESSED IN A TUXEDO , LIVE ON STAGE. ENJOY

  • One of the greatest tenors of all times. A master of harmonics.

  • EXCELLENT ARTISTICALLY! ESPECIALLY FROM THHOSE RECORDINGS THEN!

  • FANTASTIC TECHNICALLY!
