Do not try this at home. For HVAC professionals only to attempt. In this video I go to two service calls. The video includes information on X13 motors, TXV adjustment, and atypical charging situations.

I have a rooftop unit with an x13 doing the exact same thing, does this mean that it is a bad blower for sure? Could it be anything else? Do you know what the standard warranty is on these units? Thanks for the help.

The warranty depends on the brand unit and if it is commercial or residential. If there is power (both low and high voltage ) at the blower then it is the blower.

I know there are usually charts for TXV subcooling, but how do you know what you're desired TXV superheat is?

It would depend since some valves are not adjustable. It would depend on the type they were replacing. Thanks!
